Well avid punters, the adventurers were thwarted by heavy rain and waves so the Wilsons Prom trip was replaced by a modest paddle out to Cape Woolamai @ Phillip Island with sea caves and a lone baby seal the observed wildlife. Ocean swell, probably all of 0.5 M was handled well by all. Decision is to wait until the Victorian weather warms up ....probably next March before another attempt at the Prom.

In the meantime , the hearty crew of the "Jean" set off for Blairgowrie and Queenscliff on the ANZAC w'end and had a great time mixing it with real yachties at QCYC and Sue got in a great 2 dives at Rosebud and on the South Channel Fort. Sue also Managed to clean the Starboard side of "Jean" but was forced to snorkel as due to shallow water, inadequate weights and poor technique she couldn't sink in scuba.

Next big adventure is getting an outboard for the tender as the rowing in the curent in the Queenscliff Channel proved a bit hairraising for the cox despit ethe efforts of 2 crack rowers Sue and Claire. Then the inevitable cleaning of the boat....BOORING+++

An even better photo of Ali with friend Lucy Cuthbertson disguised as "reindeer"???at Christmas in Edinburgh 05. Which one is Rudolph... and what have they done with Santa?
