Queens Birthday Weekend

This is the maiden voyage of our new boat "Folie A Deux". We set off with our crew, Caitlin , Karen, Peter, Pottsie and sailed in fairweather to Queenscliff. Although we had a bit of a late start in the race it took us only 3 1/2 hours to sail the 30 NM . The wind was from the SE so we had a beam reach down all the way even through the West Channel. We stayed at the Q'Cliff Cruising Yacht Club, shopped at Q'cliff , dined at the Queenscliff Hotel (lemon and pomegranite tart to die for) and hatched plans with the QCYC commodore and our next door neighbour at RBYC fro a trip to King Island in the New Year.
